If it is that you are looking for the best wireless earbuds, then you just might want to hang on a bit before deciding on what to buy because Jabra is about to launch two new models of true wireless earbuds according to several reports.

These devices in question are tipped to be called the Jabra Elite 10 and the Jabra Elite 8 Active. The latter model in question is going to be particularly interesting for runners as well as other fitness fans, especially given the fact that the Jabra Elite 7 Active are excellent running buds.

And according to the leak, which comes via MySmartPrice just as reported by Notebookcheck.net, the big changes reported here are to the audio and the lack of it of the bud. The Elite 10s in question are expected to have significantly improved noise cancellation, while the Actives on the other hand reportedly support Dolby Audio and also sport better ANC than their predecessors.

Leaked Specs and Features

The Elite 8 Active as you should know is expected to be more water and dust resistant than before, with reported improved IP68 protection as well as a case certified to IP54. The report, however, states that they will also benefit from Dolby Audio support and that they will also have “Adaptive Hybrid” noise canceling. It’s not still clear as to what that delivers at the moment, but presumably, it will be an improved noise canceling system that effectively reacts better to sounds around you.

The flagship buds in question here will be the Jabra Elite 10, which according to the leak will include “Jabra Advanced ANC” and Dolby Atmos. They also will be featuring Made for iPhone certification, Google Fast Pair as well as Spotify Tap, some of the features the 8 Actives will also have.

We really don’t have price information as of this moment but the Jabra Elite 7 Active in question have a recommended retail of $179 and the Elite 7 Pro on the other hand are $199, so we would expect prices for the new versions to be quite similar.

Price and Availability

If however, you are not too bothered regarding getting the newest model this very well could be a good time for a bargain as Amazon now appears to be shifting old stock in a bid to make way for the new arrivals so the Elite 7 Actives are now down from $179 to $109 and the Elite 7 Pro on the other hand are also down from $199 to $119. We rate both of the models very highly. We already gave the Elite 7 Pro four out of five stars and then awarded the Elite 7 Actives on the other hand the same star rating.
