The collaboration of the Spotify system has its good side and bad side. There are serious caveats to the service’s normal collaborative playlist features, like a lack of tiers for users. In 2022 March, any users that can view your collaborative Spotify Playlist can choose to subscribe to it and add as they choose to. The playlist can get quite messy without proper curation to keep a certain mood or tone.
Spotify Blend has offered a solution for this problem by allowing you to invite up to about 10 friends to share a particular playlist that auto-generates songs based on what each user regularly listens to.
