Who is Eligible for an EBT Card?

How to Get an EBT Card

There is a website that you can simply visit to apply for snap benefits. Then, it will give you your EBT card once you are accepted.
Please note that you do not apply for an ebt card but you are applying for the snap benefits. Once your application has been granted you would receive a mail along with your ebt card. As I have mentioned several times in this article it is this card you make use of to access your snap benefits.
To apply for snap benefits follow the below procedure:
- Use any browser and head over to https://www.mass.gov/how-to/apply-for-snap-benefits-food-stamps.
- Now scroll down to the section that says how to apply and click on online.
- After clicking on online click on the website you will see.
- On the website click on the apply snap.
- Scroll down and click on get started.
- Fill in all the information required of you and click on continue.
- Lastly, follow the onscreen prompts till you are done.
After you have applied for the snap benefits and your application has been accepted. It will take them about 5 to 10 days to send you your EBT card in the mail. Finally, note that it takes up to 30 days for you to receive a reply after you apply.
