Eligibility Criteria for the Application of the Hendrix Scholarship

Generally, to be considered for this scholarship, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria;

  • You must be a senior in a high school
  • You must have the least GPA of 3.6 from high school college preparatory classes.
  • To apply for this scholarship, you must score a minimum ACT score of 32 or a minimum SAT critical reading and Math combined super score of 1430.

The benefits of this scholarship are given below;

Every year, the Hays scholarship provides awards to four freshers. This scholarship covers tuition fees, a double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited board plan.

This scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student or recipient of the scholarship maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award.

How to Apply for the Hendrix College Hays Memorial Scholarship

To apply for the Hendrix College Hays Memorial Scholarship, follow the steps below;

  • To successfully apply for these scholarships, students will have to complete an application process for admission through the application website.
  • After getting approval to study at the University, you can now apply for this scholarship through the application portal.
  • Firstly, go to the official website or portal of application, hendrix.edu/apply/
  • When you get to the website, you will be required to create an account at the portal if it’s your first time in the portal. Click on the link that says “create an account”
  • You will be led to a new page, enter the required details like your email address, first name, last name, and birth date.

Application: Application for admission serves as the application for the Dean’s scholarships. Students must submit an application for admission on or before November 15th to be considered.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship Leadership Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is only available for leadership in United Methodist youth ministries

Scholarship Amount: $1,000-$2,000 per year

Miller Center Service Scholarship

Eligibility: to be eligible for this scholarship, you must have demonstrated a record of service and volunteer work
