Program Highlights

Participants of the Harvard LEAD Fellowship have the flexibility to craft personalized leadership development plans. They gain access to renowned faculty and seasoned mentors who provide tailored guidance in alignment with fellows’ specific aspirations and objectives.

LEAD fellows partake in customized leadership training sessions as a cohort, along with opportunities for public speaking engagements, networking, and independent project initiatives. By the end of the program, fellows forge lasting connections with peers and mentors across Harvard University.

The fellowship experience is deliberately designed to afford global health leaders the space for introspection, connection, and exploration of new horizons.

The 2024-2025 LEAD Fellowship program entails a 12-month virtual curriculum supplemented by a 4-week in-person immersion experience in Spring 2025. Throughout the fellowship term, participants will benefit from individualized leadership coaching, mentorship, executive education courses, speaking engagements, leadership workshops, and networking opportunities.

Fellows joining the 2024-2025 cohort become part of a tight-knit community comprising former fellows from diverse corners of the globe. Past fellows have hailed from 16 different countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and South America, bringing expertise in research, advocacy, administration, policy, and clinical practice.
