Creatures from several religious mythologies including Ifrit, Odin, Bahamut, were all seen in the trailer. The game was set in the fictional world of Valisthea, A realm that was divided into six kingdoms, each of which relied on gaint Mothercrystals for its sustenance via the aether.

Now, the blight started glowing and the crystal is fading, forcing most of the kingdoms to search for other means of survival. And they are doing that either through cunning diplomacy or destructive warfare.

Menacing creatures called Eikons lie within a class of human beings that are classified as dominant, and they are at the of the conflict. The latest trailer of “Final Fantasy” bring in new two new characters. The first one is Dion Lesage, the dominant for Bahamut, and Barnabas Thatmr, who are able to summon Odin Powers. Kupka and Harman, the dominants of Titan and Garuda, were first shown in the trailer that was released before this one.

An Engaging Storyline

The main character in the series is Clive Rosefield who happens to be the son of Archduke of Rosaria, who is surprisingly not dominant. Instead, he is an assistant to his brother Joshua, who is able to channel the Eikon Phoenix. Also, the trailer gives us a look at the hulking Hugo Kupka, who is surrounded by a yellow glittery aura just as he projects the powers of his Eikon named titan.

Also, the trailer shows us some Dominant against-dominant action in the trailer, each of them summoning the power of their respective Eikons during battle. The big baddie here seems to be the Eikon named Ifrit, who also is the one that sets clive on his own path, which would get explored in “Final Fantasy XVI’s” main storyline.

The story seems to be full of conniving political undertones and fantastical battles with mythical beasts, which has shown to be an intriguing mix and definitely something looking forward to.

Release Date

In this upcoming game, we do not get to see any iconic character design as Sephiroth in the upcoming game, but if you are a fan of the demon avatar of Dante and Virgil in the last Devil May Vry, then you would most definitely love the Eikons duking it out. The game release has been aimed at the summer of 2023, but the title is apparently very close to the final version.
