The 3rd Call for the European Union ELbM Scholarship 2023, has been announced, eligible African nationals are invited to apply for this scholarship opportunity and pursue a study in the following areas;
Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
In applying for the European Union ELbM Scholarship, kindly note that candidates are not required to pay any fees to benefit from the ELbM Mobility Intra-Africa scholarship.
The number of ELbM scholarship position include 12 Master’s degree, 4 PhD programs, and 6 Staff scholarship, making it a total of 22 scholarships.
Successfully Selected Candidates as well as staff for the ELbM scholarships, will be engaged in research, training, and Postgraduate taught Programs with the four African partner institutions of the scholarship.

Recipients of the ELbM scholarship will enjoy the following benefits:
- Visa cost coverage and a round trip-air ticket will be covered
- Coverage for Participation costs such as tuition fees, registration and service fees, Insurance (Health, accident, travel),
- A settling-in allowance
- A monthly subsistence allowance and
- Successful scholarship recipients will receive a contribution towards the research costs associated with student mobility of 10 months or longer

Requirement for European Union ELbM Scholarship 2023
To be eligible for the ELbM Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Only Africans can apply for this ELbM scholarship
- Applicants must have completed their undergraduate program from recognized Institutions
- Applicants must meet the mandatory requirement of being proficient in the English Language
