They aim to empower and unite future leaders and influencers who will play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future. All individuals, regardless of whether they are activists, innovators, policymakers, disruptors, or ordinary citizens, are encouraged to submit their ideas.

Grant

  • A grant of £1,000 is up for grabs for individuals with creative and innovative ideas to turn their sustainability solutions into tangible projects.

Eligibility  Requirement

To meet the eligibility criteria, you must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Chatham House membership is not mandatory for application.
  • Applications are open to individuals of all backgrounds and from any geographical location.
  • Applicants must be situated in the country where the initiative will take place.
  • Both individuals and groups are welcome to submit their ideas.
  • If applying as a partnership, at least one of the applicants must be based in the country where the initiative will be implemented.
  • Within a partnership, a primary applicant should be designated to receive the grant funding and hold overall responsibility for the initiative.
  • Applications from registered businesses or companies will not be considered. Only individuals, groups of individuals, or charitable/community organizations are eligible to apply.
  • All application materials and reporting should be in English.
  • To be considered, applicants must be aged 18 years or older.

 How to Apply

To apply, you need to complete a brief application form that requires you to answer the following questions. You can access the application form here, and the deadline for submission is April 15, 2024.

  • Describe your idea in 50 words.
  • Provide a more detailed outline of your idea (up to 1,500 words).
  • Explain how your idea contributes to accelerating a fair and sustainable future (up to 200 words).
  • Highlight what is novel or innovative about your approach (up to 200 words).
  • Discuss how your idea will resonate with others and its relevance and reach (up to 200 words).
  • Present your plan for allocating funds and provide a project timeline (up to 200 words).
  • Explain how you will measure the impact of your project (up to 200 words).
