Some weekend travel may be necessary.

Major Responsibility

Delivery

Offer support in conducting research, which includes tasks like background research and verifying the accuracy of research findings and publications.

  • Contribute to the creation of literature reviews, datasets, charts, and graphics.
  • Provide assistance in editing and referencing publications.
  • Take part in field research as permitted by ongoing projects.
  • Aid in the publication process for research outputs.
  • Adhere to the administrative and reporting obligations set by Chatham House and funding bodies.

People

  • Act as rapporteur for meetings and events and draft meeting summaries.
  • Offer assistance with logistics, including organizing and coordinating international travel arrangements as needed.
  • Provide on-site support during events to both the team and external participants.

Strategy

  • Collaborate in the development of research projects.
  • Help in creating content, developing agendas, and organizing various events such as roundtables, panel discussions, and conferences.
  • Ensure that finance processes are followed, including maintaining accounting records and monitoring budget income and expenses for specific projects.
