British Council Nigerian Internship 2023
The British Council Internship Programme is designed to provide students/graduates with an experiential learning opportunity to gain real-world experience. Interns are expected to utilize the practical experience gained to complement the theoretical knowledge he/she has gained during their studies.
Applicants from underrepresented groups are welcomed in line with the British Council EDI principle. Successful Interns are expected to both learn from and contribute to the workplace during the internship period, in turn providing an opportunity to increase employability skills.

Benefits of British Council Internship Programme 2023
- The successful interns will be paid the equivalent N130,000 monthly
- Interns who are on 6 months or more will be provided with Health Insurance and a Group Life Insurance will be provided for all interns throughout the duration of their internship.

Eligibility Criteria for British Council Internship Programme Qualification
- Candidate must be a recent graduate within the last 4 years with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Should have strong written and oral communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Should have an interest in project planning and implementation
Selection Criteria for British Council Internship Programme
- The Applicant’s experience in the development of statistics, charts in Excel and Web 2.0 tools and
- In organizing local and/or international events
- Candidate’s experience working with artists or within the art space
- Have experience in managing mailboxes; attending to queries in a professional and timely manner
