Netflix has just revealed a tad bit more in regards to its new Bridgerton spinoff of none other than Valentine’s Day. The newly released trailer shares a glimpse at Queen Charlotte’s rise to power and prominence, according to Netflix. The trailer also highlights a release date for the drama which is May 4.

The roughly 50-second clip is inclusive of carriages, crowns, and romantic encounters, but it however does not give away too much in regards to the new series. Golda Rosheuval, Adjoa Andoh and Ruth Gemmell are all reprising their roles in Bridgerton of Queen Charlotte, Lady Agatha Danburry, and Lady Violet Bridgerton. India Amarteifio however plays a younger version of Charlotte.
