It offers advanced training in business development and growth strategies, corporate advice, mentorship, personalized assistance, networking, and access to financial resources.
This program focuses on businesses operating in multiple sectors, with a particular emphasis on technology-driven and technology-supported businesses in key industries including agriculture, healthcare, education, the creative industry, financial services, renewable energy, logistics, and climate-friendly solutions.
AWIEF will collaborate with Victoria’s Secret in 2024 to offer a seven-month investment readiness program to twenty women founders and leaders of innovative, growing businesses from Nigeria.
Eligibility Criteria for the Awief Growth Accelerator Program
- To be considered for selection, businesses need to fulfil the following requirements:
- Ownership: Women-owned (>51%).
- Leadership: Women-led at C-Suite or equivalent level.
- The product or service has a particular focus on or has a greater impact on women.
Additionally, businesses must be:
- A Nigerian-based business
- Highly innovative and has growth potential.
- Currently in the stage of making a profit
- In operation for at least three years.
- The business is owned or led by determined ambitious women entrepreneurs who are seeking investment or funding to expand their venture.
