The tech company Intel already has revealed that its Arc A380 discrete graphics card is optimized for some of the most popular and newest games which is undoubtedly set to be liked by everyone but not one particular group.

YouTuber DJ Mines as reported by Tom’s Hardware stated that they already ran a couple of popular Ethereum mining software such as the Trex miner, lolminer, teamreeminer, and NiceHashminig and none of them worked at all. Everything now points to the fact that maybe the Arc A380 does not support crypto mining.

This Is a Blow to the Cryptomining Community

And also considering that the Ethereum coin lost close to 70% of its value in 2022 alone, this is yet another blow for the crypto mining community. Research also reveals that this is not the only graphics card to stop the mining of crypto either.

Nvidia also launched its lite hash rate modifications to its best graphics cards, which slows down the hash rate to discourage mining operations. Miners have however thwarted much of this work successfully since it has been released.

There have been worries as of late over the mining of crypto making a resurgence and thus driving up the cost of graphics cards again as Ethereum and bitcoin have increased slightly in their values although they are still not close to their highest level.

What Crypto’s Resurgence Would mean for the Gaming Industry

However, that is still not a guarantee. And although Ethereum received a huge boost of 20% recently while bitcoin on the other hand clawed back up a more modest 5%, it still remains whether this resurgence of these coins will last or if it is all a flue as the prices will continue to drop.

The writing has been on the wall for quite some time now ever since crypto was becoming slower and also more expensive. And taking a look at the whole thing from another perspective in regards to the benefit of the GPU market as well as the environment, it is kind of best if the decline of Cryptocurrencies not just continues but accelerates.
