Amazon could charge users for their next return via UPS. And with that being said, you can still get to return items at Whole Foods and Kohl’s for free on the other hand.

Retail giant, amazon will start to charge users a $1 fee for some of the returns made via UPS, the online retail giant on Friday confirmed. You can however continue to make Amazon returns for free at Kohl’s, Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh stores.

“We offer convenient, easy returns to Amazon customers, with one or more options for label-free, box-free returns at no cost,” amazon spokesperson, Eileen Hards in a statement emailed to CNET said.

If you instead opt to return your item at a UPS store “when there is a free option closer” to your delivery address that is a situation when you could be hit with the fee, Amazon states.

How Long Does Amazon Return Takes through UPS

This is simple. You should know that after the courier has gotten or received your item, it can take up to seven days for it to be received by amazon and then processed. And after the return is processes, it may take up to 5 to 7 business days for the refund in question to show on your payment card statement.

How to Get a UPS Return Label from Amazon

This is easy and simple as well. All you have to do is login to your amazon account view return status and then cancel the return in question. Now you will have to go back and then request the return with a UPS label. You can either print or email the said label to amazon. Now you will have to tape the label to your box or bring it in and then the label will be placed in a carrier sleeve tat adhere to the box.
