Undergraduate Students can now apply for the 2023 edition of the INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship.
The INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship Program is offering a unique opportunity to highly motivated undergraduate students globally to engage in research activities in the summer under the mentorship of faculty and researchers at INSAIT.
The Summer Fellowship Program follows the pattern of top successful summer research programs at MIT, Caltech, and ETH Zurich. This year, the program will hold for a period of 8-10 weeks, with the duration of the summer project decided between the student and their mentor.

Benefits of INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship
- All successfully selected students will receive a monthly stipend of 1500 EUR to cover their living & accommodation expenses.
- Accommodation will be made available for the students and the cost will subsequently be deducted from their stipend.
- Successful candidates will also receive support for travel costs.

Eligibility Criteria for INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship Qualification
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled in any accredited university are eligible to apply.
- Students must be enrolled in a STEM Program such as computer science or math.
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or the equivalent in the corresponding grading system.
- Communities that are underrepresented in STEM are highly encouraged to apply
Important Dates for INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship
- The Opening of the application window: Dec 14, 2022 – Feb 25, 2023
- Reviewing submitted applications: Feb 26 – March 10, 2023:
- All Shortlisted candidates are invited for a brief online interview on March 13, 2023
- From March 13 – 17, 2023, Interviews with shortlisted candidates commence
- March 20, 2023: The successfully Selected candidates are invited to the program
- March 20 – 24, 2023: Confirmation of participation in the program by Selected applicants.
- March 27 – April 30, 2023: Students contact their mentors to discuss projects and define a project scope/plan
