Oculus Link Cable

Make use of an Oculus Link cable to connect your Quest Headset to your PC. While making use of the Quest PC app, select “Devices” from the menu on the left side, then press “add Headset” if you do not have one connected already.

At this point, press quest 2 > continue > link (Cable) > continue to get to the “Connect Your headset” Screen. At this point, you plug in the link cable into your PC and quest 2 headsets. Alternatively, Use the Quest 2 Air Link Feature

Launch the quest PC app, select “Devices” from the menu on the left, and select “add Headset” – just like you do use a link cable.

This time around, select Air Link (Wireless). The next screen would instruct you to go into your quest 2’s experimental features in settings. These features are not as dangerous as the name makes them look. Think of them more like functions that are still in beta testing – at the moment, they are yet to be fully optimized and might cause some dips when it comes to performance while making use of them, but they would not break anything.

Once the Air link has been turned on in your quest 2, head back to your main settings and open the new Air link option to see a list of nearby PCs. Press your PC and then check to see if the code on your headset and PC screen matches up.

If they do, slip the headset right back on and then click on “Confirm” to finish pairing the devices.
