The Application Process for Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships

All interested and eligible candidates are required to click on their preferred country to apply. Also, it is important to note the following steps below before submitting an application:

  • Do a review of the available courses and entry requirements, this is in addition to the application guidance
  • Once that is done, check that the course you are applying for is available at your selected university at the start of the form for your application to be counted.
  • Applicants must submit a university application at the same time as their scholarship application unless stated otherwise
  • This award does not permit applicants to apply more than once to the same university. This simply means only the first application will be considered in a situation whereby two applications were submitted with the same University
  • Register and have a MyACU account, once you’re registered, follow the instructions you will then be able to log in to the system to access the application form.

Am I eligible to apply for a QECS in my home country/country of citizenship?

You cannot, all applicants must apply for a QECS award in a country other than their home country/country of citizenship.

What steps should I take if the link in the myACU registration email does not work?

In a situation whereby the direct link does not take you to the application form, use https://crm.acu.ac.uk/user/login to access the myACU portal. The moment you access your account, you will be able to access the application form through the link in the ‘QECS applications open’ announcement.

What is the age limit for QECS awards?

There is actually no age limit set, that is there is no upper age limit to be eligible for a QECS Award.

Am I permitted to apply for a QECS in the final year of my undergraduate degree?

Unfortunately No. To be allowed to apply for QECS, it is expected that you have already completed your degree and have graduated with an equivalent of a 2:1 at the time of application. Subsequently, you will be asked to provide a copy of your final transcript and degree certificate.
