Yandex mobile is the application of the platform. This application is compatible with any device type including iOS and Android devices.
With the app, you can instant answers to all your questions on the weather forecast, traffic, breaking news. It also offers answers to currency exchange rates, TV Listings, running movies, closest POIs.

Yandex Mobile application can also help you with what to cook for dinner or choose a song playing via the radio. All you need to do with the mobile app is to type, speak, or upload a picture and get all the answers. With the Yandex app, you can ;

There’s an inbuilt voice assistant known as Alice and can be set as Default on the device. Alice helps to provide weather and traffic information, set wake up alarms and reminders.
You can find any information you want on the internet, which also supports small talk conversations. This app is currently available in Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, etc.
To set Alice as your default assistant, open your settings. Then head on to “Assist and Voice Input”, and tap on “Assist App”. Finally, tap on Yandex.

Yandex Download
Like I said earlier, the app is compatible with any device and easy to download. The mobile app is made free for anyone to download or install in the locations it is made available currently. Here’s a guide on how to download the app;
- Your Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Tap on the search box on the store.
- Then Type in Yandex on the search box and hit on search.
- From the filtered result, tap on the first app displayed at the top of the list to load the information.
- On the information page, Tap on the green “Download or Install” button.
Accept the Permissions need if any on the app to proceed with the download. It will be downloaded immediately to your device if you have good data or Wi-Fi connection.
From the download page, you can launch the app to start using it. Or simply go to the apps on your device and launch it.
Yandex Mail
To create a Yandex mail account, all you have to do is open the app you downloaded following the steps above tap on the options that allow you to create an account. It’s that easy. Signing in can also be done by tapping on the option that says sign in.
