The company Volvo has yet again built a nice little crossover in the same form as the XC40. This new ride got, even more, better when the Swedish automaker swapped out the internal combustion engine for an electric powertrain.
The new variant, C40 Recharge combines the same battery-electric mechanics with a slightly more stylish and euro-efficient shape. With this being a modern Volvo, you can expect a Scandinavia-chic interior and Volvo’s reassuring approach to safety precautions.

Starting at a price range of $58,750, the C40 Recharge has a range of 225 miles. And this vehicle has the new Range Assistant feature. The main question is whether it is worth the extra $3,500 over the XC40m recharge price.
C40 recharge Features
The new Volvo’s C40 Recharge as said earlier will be featuring a cross battery and electric mechanic. There will also be Google’s Voice assistant on-board as well, thanks to the Android Automotive infotainment system.
Verdict
The new Volvo’s 2022 C40 Recharge Adds Fastback Style to the XC40 joins other oddballs like the 480 and C30. The design is a subtle refinement of XC40, so expect a similar design with a little extra feature.
Based on Volvo’s press materials, the new C40 and Xc40 even share the same drag coefficient and frontal area (0.329 and 2.56m3).
In this case, given the C40’s lower roofline makes for a car that’s 2.9 inches (71mm) which is shorter than the XC40 Recharge. But the fact still remains that the shape is much draggier than a lot of other EVs.
