University College London Otto Koenigsberger Scholarship in UK 2022. The purpose of this scholarship is to support some highly intelligent candidates overseas for postgraduate study at the MSc level, with great expectations that as graduates, these scholars will make important and useful contributions to urban development by using international perspective and leading position of the DPU in the development field.
Otto Koenigsberger was a distinguished and internationally recognized and popular practitioner and teacher whose practical and responsive approach to urban planning reoriented development planning work in Africa, Asia, and Latin America in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Also, he was the founder and first director of the Development Planning Unit.
Eligibility
To be qualified for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements;
Applicants must
- be an overseas student and commence full-time study for a Master’s degree in the Development Planning Unit.
- Posses and have accepted an unconditional offer of a place at DPU.
The scholarship covers partial remission of tuition fees, therefore, applicants must provide written evidence of funding the balance of their tuition fees and their living expenses.
Value
The scholarship covers up to £5,000 toward tuition fees.
