UBD Scholarship 2023 Financial Benefits
The University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship offers Fully Funded Scholarships Programme for all International and Domestic Students.
The University will cover all the expenses related to the study such as:
- Tuition Fees waiver, Registration and Acceptance Fees at University Brunei Darussalam.
- Also, a Subsistence Allowance of BND 500.00 monthly for 36 months
- Accommodation on campus for 36 months.
- Economy Class Air Ticket (one round trip) will be provided from their home country upon accepting the scholarship and to their home country upon completion of their studies.
- Coverage for Field Research (Allowances)
BND 1000.00 and 2000.00 respectively for Arts and Humanities, and for Science applicants.

Requirement for UBD Scholarship 2023
- The UBD Scholarship is open to all Nationalities Including Brunei & Non-Brunei.
- Eligible program include; Masters degree Program, PhD. Degree Program.
- A First Class Bachelors Degree is a requirement for the master Degree Program
- Candidates for PhD degree must have a masters degree.
- Applicants are expected to submit a High quality and impactful Research Proposal.
- He/She must be Fit to pursue studies in the area of choice.
Needed Documents
The following documents will be required:
- Certified copy of Brunei identification card or international passport
- Academic certificates e.g. O Level, A Level, HND etc. including university transcripts (where applicable)
- Motivation Letter for Scholarship Application (2022)
- international applicants will need to provide a security clearance letter from the country of origin
- English translation cert must be submitted for document that are not in the English language (excluding Bahasa Melayu)
- Brunei Government employees will need a printed application forms m
submitted through the respective Ministry.
