Expressing your thoughts on the Twitter social media platform just got a bit easier as the company on Wednesday announced that all iOS and Android users of the platform are now able to post videos, images, and GIFs all within the same tweet.

Twitter support tweeted: “Get ready to mix it up with visuals on Twitter.”

Users of the social media platform before in the past have been able to post multiple photos. But with this new development, users can now tweet up to four images, GIFs, and videos all in a single tweet.

How to Create a Mixed-Media Tweet

In the matter of creating a mixed-media tweet, it is also the same as creating a tweet before. All you have to do is to compose a tweet, select the media or GIF icons in question and then add or include the content that you want to add to the tweet just before you tweet it out.

In a blog post, Twitter wrote “We’re always looking for new and exciting ways to help creators share more and be seen.”

Instagram Has a Similar Feature

Another social media platform in the name of Instagram has the same or a similar feature rather that allows users to post pictures and videos within the same post. But users will however need to swipe across to see the other media types. Mixed-media tweets on the other hand will allow you to see all the types of media at once.
