TWAS Arab Young Affiliates 2024–2029

Every year, the five TWAS Regional Partners select up to five exceptional early-career scientists who are below the age of 40, granting them the title of ‘TWAS Young Affiliates’ for six years. These talented scientists become part of a growing network consisting of the most promising scientists from developing countries. Moreover, they gain access to various opportunities to interact and learn from TWAS Fellows.

Throughout their affiliation, these Young Affiliates can take part in numerous activities, including events organized by the Arab regional partner of TWAS (TWAS-AREP) and other affiliated events organized by TWAS.

The program, initiated in 2007, aims to identify the brightest young scientists in each region of the developing world, providing them with platforms to connect, interact with TWAS Fellows, and attend international conferences and other events specifically designed for young scientists.
