While tech company Google has confirmed that the pixel watch is well on its way, it has not really shared anything much in regards to any other thing about it. That being said, it means that as for now we are still very much relying on rumors and leaks with the most recent one proving rather than disappointing.
The team at 9to5google has done some digging into the Fitbit app for android recently and they came across references to sleep tracking on the pixel watch and also the following message: ‘you will need at least 30% charge to track a full night’s sleep.’
The standard recommendation for the duration of sleep is around the eight-hour mark and if 30% of the battery life of the smartwatch is enough to cover all that, then it means that we could well be looking at 24 hours between charges for the Google Pixel watch. This also could make it very similar to the apple watch and thus not proving to cause any sort of trouble to the top of the list of the best smartwatches.
There Will Be a Dedicated Pixel Watch App
We all know that Google officially owns Fitbit. But as for now, it is still not clear as to how much support the Fitbit app would have for the upcoming watch. There have however been indications that Google would launch an app that is dedicated to the pixel watch to help manage the device.
And based on the little information that we have, it does not look like the Google Fitbit will be going anywhere either. That being said, it, therefore, opens up the possibility that you may end up making use of three different apps in managing everything that is happening on the pixel watch.
When Will the Wearable Launch
We are hoping that maybe the situation gets clearer as at the time the Google pixel watch goes on sale finally. And as for the actual launch date, we are still not sure. The wearable however is widely expected to appear alongside the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro around an October timeframe.
