Facebook Ad library was been designed for everyone to have full access to advertising their taking place on Facebook. The Ad Library contains all active ads running across our products.
Transparency is a priority for us to help prevent interference in elections, so the Ad Library offers additional information about ads about social issues, elections, or politics, including spend, reach, and funding entities. These ads are visible whether they’re active or inactive and will be stored in the Ad Library for seven years.

Search the Ad Library
The following are steps to search the Ad Library
- Go to the Ad library at www.facebook.com/ads/library
- Then at the top right of the Ad library, you can select the country you would like to view.
- Click on the All Ads above.
- Enter what you are searching for on the search box bar.
- You will see a drop-down of the menu with the related result.
- Then click on the special one you are looking for.

Search for Ads Social Issues, Elections or Politics
To search for ad issues, elections or politics can be grouped by the Facebook page or by just a keyword or phrase.
- Go to the Ad library at www.facebook.com/ads/library
- Then at the top right of the Ad library, you can select the country you would like to view.
- Click on the issue, electoral, or Political.
- Enter what you are searching for on the search box bar.
- You will see a drop-down of the menu with the related result.
- Then click on the social, political, or electoral you are looking for.

To Search for Housing Ads
You can also search for your housing page through the Ads library. Below are the steps to follow:
- Go to the Ad library at www.facebook.com/ads/library
- Then at the top right of the Ad library, you can select the country you would like to view.
- Click on the housing above the search bar.
- Enter what you are searching for on the search box bar.
- Then enter the page name, city, or state you are looking for in the search bar.
- You will see a drop-down menu with the result that related to what you are searching for.
- Click on the result to see the ads.
