The said event will run from November 11 to November 13, and the theme for the event this time around is the age-old question that all aspiring trainers get to face when they set off on a Pokémon adventure for the first time, which is which starting type will you select, grass, water or fire?

Nintendo Is Offering a Special Splatoon/Pokémon Keychain Set

And in a bid to commemorate the Splatfest event, Nintendo will be offering a special Splatoon/Pokémon keychain set through its My Nintendo rewards program. More details in regard to its availability will be announced at a later date. My Nintendo members on the other hand can also redeem Platinum points for a wallpaper calendar that is featuring the Splatfest artwork.

The Splatfest is set to take place just one week before the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which is the next mainline entry into the Pokémon series. These two games will be taking players to a new, open-world region known as Paldea, which is home to a host of brand-new Pokémon and characters. And for the very first time in the series, you also can team up with other players and then explore the region together.
