The 2022 edition of this educational conference is an in-person event and will bring together a lot of researchers and educational professionals. SACLA 2022 is the 51st annual educational conference organized by the Department of Information Science at Stellenbosch University. During this conference, there will be research paper sessions, plenary keynotes workshops and seminars.

The aim of the SACLA 2022 conference is to provide a platform where topics will be discussed on how to improve computer science, information technology and other related fields. During this event, research and practical experiences will be discussed.
The usefulness of computer software tools in improving learning and teaching will also be discussed. This is an amazing event you wouldn’t want to miss.
Also, submissions on research topics will be made. Some of the topics include curriculum innovations or initiatives, ethical problems related to teaching and learning, didactics and methods of teaching and assessment, and innovative teaching techniques.
Other topics include and are not limited to transition of newly graduated school pupils, transition of newly graduated students into industry, separation or combination of teaching and research, international comparability of degrees and levels of knowledge.
SACLA Conference Registration
Registration for the SACLA 2022 Conference has begun already and you can do so online. The registration covers lunch for the two days of the conference. It also covers morning, mid-morning and afternoon tea with other refreshments. Registrants will also be offered Dinner on the 21st of July 2022 and other packages.

How to Register for SACLA 2022
To register for the conference online, follow the steps below:
- Open a web browser on a device connected to the internet.
- Enter the URL sacla2022.org into the search bar to visit the conference page online.
- Click on the menu button at the bottom of the page and choose “Registration”.
- Scroll down the page after going through the details and click on “Registration Portal”.
- Enter your “Voucher Code” in the required field and click on “Redeem Voucher”.
Follow other instructions on your screen to complete the registration process. If you have already ordered the conference ticket, you can click on the “Resend order link” if you can’t find the order link.
To ensure the safety of attendees at the event, strict COVID-19 rules will be observed. Attendees are required to get vaccinated before the event, wear face masks and follow other safety rules during the conference.
