OnePlus Nord N20 5G Renders Has a Familiar Design. Currently, OnePlus’ Nord branding happens to be spreading everywhere, with three separate products lines aiming at three separate markets and tiers.
The Oneplus Nord 2 5G and OnePlus Nord N200 5G have been launched for quite some months now, but the “middle child” OnePlus Nord N20 is nowhere to be seen.
There is still a chance that we would be able to see the phone this year, or at least early next year, and it might come in a form that you would barely expect, especially when it seems a bit like an iPhone instead of a OnePlus Phone.
OnePlus Nord N20 5G Renders Has a Familiar Design
Some of them might argue that Apple doesn’t possess a monopoly on the way the phone looks, but the company’s long legal battle with Samsung might just be saying something different.
Just to be fair, the OnePlus smartphone possesses designs that are similar to that of the iPhone 13, but it might just have enough elements that would remind us of one of Apple’s Flagships. At least, that’s what these renders from 91mobiles and @Onleaks seem to imply.
Well, there is, for example, the chamfered edges that possess some of the signature marks of an iPhone ever since the iPhone 12 (and the iPhone 5s and older), as well as the very flat back and the front sides.
Also, there are two cameras positioned opposite to each other with two smaller holes right in the middle. Unlike the iPhones, though, the cameras are aligned vertically and aren’t enclosed on any bump.
Oneplus Nord N20 Front Design
The front of this Oneplus Nord N20 5G is, of course, unlike most iPhones since it comes with a punch-hole cutout in a corner. The Phone would have passed as a premium one if not for the rather sizeable chin that remains a mark of the mid-range and entry-level handsets.
Luckily, there is a headphone jack located at the bottom, something that people buying Samsung’s next Galaxy A series get to miss sorely.
OnePlus Nord N20 5G Specs
This leak also spills some beans when it comes to the spec of the smartphone, like the 6.43-inch AMOLED screen that would be one of the biggest upgrades from the OnePlus Nord N10. The triple camera set is said to be led by a 48MP main sensor, joined by 2MP cameras.
OnePlus curiously notes that this phone might just actually launch as the OnePlus Nord CE2 5G, which is expected to probably add to the confusion over the company’s direction for the Nord brand.
