Apple customers can now pre-register for a pre-order. Yes, you heard me right. Users and Apple fans all over the world can now pre-register their details in order to make the checkout process for the new iPhone 13 a little easier than usual.

The idea may sound ridiculous, yes I know, but if you wish to complete a pre-order request on time and as quickly as possible to guarantee an early ship date, then the steps I will be dishing out to you may be very useful. In a time where there is a global component shortage for devices, you don’t want to be met with the out of sock command when you want to order for your device.

Apple has offered a pre-registration offer before, so this is not the first time. But the offer was previously reserved for customers on the iPhone upgrade program which is a 24-month payment plan that includes AppleCare plus and also offers a phone upgrade each year reports MacRumors.

How to Pre-Register Your Details

Pre-registering your details for a hassle-less launch day is easy. First, go to the apple store app or the Apple official website. If you are on the upgrade plan you will have your upgrade eligibility checked and credit lines approved. Anyone with a plan will experience the same thing.

Other customers outside this plan will have to pick out their preferred iPhone model, register their carrier status, enter their payment details and select accessories or even pick out an AppleCare plus plan. However, there are some users currently reporting seeing a “your iPhone pre-order has expired” error message. MacRumors however reports this to be a glitch.

Lastly, just know that this process is only available until Thursday, midnight, Eastern Time.
