Invincible Season 2 – What We Know So Far

Finally, we would be getting some major news concerning the Season 2 of invincible. It has been about two years since we saw the end of Prime Video Invincible Season, and the series has been scheduled to return in 2023. Well, some major announcements would be coming in 2023, giving us the assurance that we would definitely see a release date reveal.

Seeing as Invincible is one of the prime video best-animated series, and it would be launching in 2023, you should be excited. This article has provided some details concerning when the Series might launch, and some other major information about the Season 2 of the series.

What You Need to Know

At the moment, no Release Date has been scheduled for the Release of Season 2. However, we would not have to wait for a long time for a reveal. Just as confirmed on several Invincible social media channels, we should be expecting a season 2 in January 2023.

That month would be marking the 20th anniversary of Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Otley’s R-Rated superhero comic series, with the first issue expected to arrive in January 22, 2003. An announcement around this time, then, was always likely on the cards. Well, we are all hoping for a release to take place on January 2023.

The invincible Seasons 2 and 3 were greenlit in April 2021. And as stated by the head writer Simon Racioppa, both of the seasons have been in the works for far longer than most fans think.

According to him “We’ve been working on it [Invincible season 2] for a while,” Racioppa exclusively told TechRadar. “We’re working very hard on it. Basically, every day Robert [Kirkman, Invincible’s co-creator] is working on it, and I’m working on it. We’re talking about it, and we are well in on the process. We’ve been working on it longer than I think people are aware, but it takes a while. It’s a big show.”

In April 2022, a video of lead voice actor steven yeun was taken as he started recording his lines for Invincible Season 2:

No so Long ago, J.K. Simmons, Who plays Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, told DiscussingFilm that the cast was entering the recording booth soon enough. And it seems like some if not most, of the series’ voice cast have completed their Season 2 work. Speaking to ScreenRant, Khary Payton, who plays Black Sansom, Said: “We finished Season 2. We are onto Season 3, but it is quite difficult to say right now when it would be launching.

Zachary Quinto was the Voice actor for Robot in Season 1, but it is not clear if he would be coming back. In the first Season, Robot was the artificial host body for Rudy Conners, an individual whose genetic defects initially meant he was unable to live outside of his saline tank.

Seeing as Rudy’s consciousness would be transferred into his new clone body in Episode 7, Ross Marquand took over vocal duties for Rudy, so we are not sure if quinto would be returning. Robot has a major role to play in the comics, but we are not sure if those events would be a part of Season 2 or Season 3.

At the moment, No trailer has been released yet, but with invincible Season 2 set for a major update the coming January, we might get a brief teaser then. Either way we would be updating you once one is released.


Will there be a Season 2 for Invincible?

Vernon Sanders, Head of Television, Amazon Studios, in an interview with Steven Winetraub of Collider, confirmed that the season 2 of invincible would be launched in 2023.

Is Season 2 and 3 of Invincible Coming Out?

Season 1 of Invincible is currently available on Prime Video with Season 2 set to arrive next year sometime in 2023. Amazon had already renewed the Series for a third season also.

How Old is Omni-Man?

At over two thousand years old, he has only started showing signs of aging while still physically performing in his prime.
