Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the International Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Successfully completed 16 years of education (for master’s degree applicants) from a non-Japanese institution or nearing completion before the enrollment date.
International students from any nation with diplomatic relations with Japan.
Born on or after 2 April 1987.
Applied for a study field related to their previous university or a related discipline.
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree for master’s degree applicants and a completed Master’s Degree for Ph.D. degree applicants.
Non-native English speakers can submit an English Proficiency Certificate from their previous university, exempting them from language tests.
The International Graduate Scholarship is open to all nationalities and offers funding for various degree levels, including master’s, Ph.D., and combined programs.

Contact Intended Supervisor: Reach out to a potential supervisor with your CV and relevant documents to secure an acceptance letter for their lab.
Submit Acceptance Letter: Forward the acceptance letter to the Admission Office to receive a link to the online application.
Prepare Documents: Gather all required documents, including an ID photo, consent email from a Tokyo Tech faculty member, the field of study and study program details, a summary of the thesis, English Proficiency Score Report, passport copy, transcripts, degree certificate, recommendation letters, and more.
