The GKS Is funded by the Korean Government, and offered to suitably qualified international students, giving them the chance to enroll in an Undergraduate Degree program at some of Korea’s finest universities. This prestigious award is available for the academic session of 2023-24.
The GKS Scholarship covers a wide range of academic fields and majors, to the end that students can pursue their passions and interests while completing their bachelor’s degree. This year, up to 100 awards are up for grabs through the University Track, on a diverse range of disciplines.

The Global Korea Undergraduate Scholarship coverage goes beyond Tuition fees, the scholarship encompasses various benefits to help you focus on your education without financial worries. The benefits include the following;
- Complete Tuition Fee: waiver: The scholarship takes care of all tuition expenses for scholarship recipients
- Living Allowance: A stipend for daily living expenses is provided
- Airfare Tickets: Travel costs to and from Korea are also covered
- Resettlement Allowance: Assistance to settle into a new environment is also provided. This helps you to settle quickly and get focused on your studies
- Medical Insurance and funding for research Support
- Receive Support for academic publications.
- There is also a completion Grant given upon successfully completing the program.
- Receive Language proficiency support and an Award for Excellent Korean Language Proficiency

Eligibility Criteria for Global Korea Undergraduate Scholarships 2024
To be eligible for the Global Korea Undergraduate Scholarships 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Any nationality other than Korean is eligible.
- Korean citizens are not eligible, including Candidates with dual citizenship
- Applicants must be under 25 years of age (born after September 1, 1999).
- High School Certificate must be obtained before August 31, 2024, or expected to graduate before that date.
- All applicants must be mentally and physically fit for full-time degree or research programs in Korea.

- Applying to both the Embassy track and the University track is strictly forbidden.
