Reports coming in now claim that all of the eight original harry potter movies are leaving HBO Max in the recent installment of the streamers back and forth with Peacock in regards to the rights of the films. And come august 31, fans of the harry potter movie franchise will have to visit peacock which only got the films at the beginning of July in order to stream the movies.

HBO Max Subscribers Will Continue To Get Harry Potter-Related Contents on Its Platform

Subscribers of HBO Max will not be completely cut off from Harry Potter-related content as all three movies in the fantastic beast’s saga will continue to stream there. HBO Max also is the streaming platform for the 20th anniversary Harry Potter special.

WarnerMedia’s warner bros already signed a licensing deal with NBC Universal some years ago although WarnerMedia’s HBO Max severally has pulled back the rights over the last couple of years as each of the platforms seeks the boost a popular franchise can give.

And not until there is any license swap in the future, you will need to subscribe to these two platforms in order to stream the movies.
