University of Sunshine Coast Scholarships for International Students

International students should be careful when searching for University of Sunshine Coast scholarships 2027.

UniSC does offer scholarships for international students, but the university’s international scholarship page currently lists awards for students commencing in 2026, including the 15% International Student Scholarship and the 20% International Bright Futures Scholarship. These awards cannot simply be treated as confirmed 2027 scholarships.

Students planning to start in 2027 should therefore check UniSC’s international scholarships page for the latest 2027 offers before relying on a particular scholarship.

There are also separate research scholarships that may be available to international Higher Degree by Research students.

UniSC Research Scholarships

Students interested in a master’s by research or PhD should also look at UniSC’s Higher Degree by Research scholarships.

One major option is the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship.

The RTP provides financial support for high-quality research students. UniSC says the scholarship can include tuition fee offsets, stipends and allowances. The 2026 stipend rate listed by UniSC is A$38,000, with the rate indexed annually.

Research scholarship deadlines can differ from the main undergraduate scholarship round.
