The Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge aims to assist young individuals aged 18-30, regardless of their location, who are passionate about addressing social and environmental issues affecting themselves and their communities.

The program is tailored to cater to those with early-stage ideas or projects, but also extends its support to social entrepreneurs and businesses further along in their journey, including those already making a positive impact through their services, products, or activities with social or environmental implications.

- Have the chance to compete for numerous grant awards, with each award offering funding of up to $10,000 USD. These grants are designed to support projects that make a positive impact in people’s lives, contribute to community welfare, and promote environmental conservation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 are eligible to participate.
- Participants can be from any country worldwide. There are no nationality restrictions, but all submissions must be in English.
- Your idea should contribute to at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.
- They welcome ideas, projects, and business solutions of various types. You may be in the early stages of developing a new idea, testing a concept you’ve been working on, or have already achieved some success in implementing a solution.
- Projects can be implemented with a profit or non-profit goal in mind.
How To Apply
- To participate, individuals must register as a team leader on the Global Innovation Challenge portal .
- Upon registration, a verification email will be sent to your provided email address. Clicking on the verification link is required for email address verification.
- Once verified, you can log into the competition platform and begin the submission process.
- While logged into the platform, you can work on your submission and make edits as needed until the deadline.
- Only submissions that are 100% complete and submitted by 31 July 2024 at 11PM (UTC) will be considered.
- You have the option to save your submission information and continue working on it later until the submission deadline.
- Participants are responsible for any risks associated with damaged, lost, late, incomplete, invalid, incorrect or misdirected applications.
