Qatar University Scholarship Coverage
The prestigious Qatar University Scholarships provide Successful applicants with the following benefits;
External Scholarships:
For the external scholarship, students will be sponsored by Qatar University and these scholarships include exemption from courses tuition fees, provision of university accommodation, and annual round trip airfare ticket and textbooks fees exemption.
Internal scholarships:
The internal scholarship includes exemption only from tuition fees and book fees.
The Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence:
The Emir of Qatar It includes exemption from tuition fees and book fees.
Outstanding Performance Scholarship:
Outstanding performance Scholarships include exemption from tuition fees only.
Requirements
Interested applicants are expected to meet the following criteria for Qatar University Scholarships:
- The Required Language is English.
- Eligible Countries: All World countries
Requirements for Internal scholarships:
- The Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the college and major that they applied to.
- Newly admitted applicants must submit the final, official high school transcript
- Qatar University Scholarship must be benefited in the same semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded.
Requirements External Scholarships:
- It is mandatory for Applicants to meet the admission requirements for the college and major that they applied to.
- They just also submit the final, official high school transcript for newly admitted applicants.
- Awards must be benefited from in the same semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded, if not, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be informed by QU email.
Requirements for Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence:
- To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicants must possess a Qatari Secondary Education Certificate.
- Applicants are required to have a minimum average of 95% in the secondary school certificate.
- The applicant must be a secondary school graduate in the same year in which the scholarship application is made.
- The awards must be benefited from in the first semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded
Criteria for Outstanding Performance Scholarship:
- Applicant Must be enrolled at Qatar University.
- Applicant Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00.
- He/She Must have completed at least 30 credit hours in QU.
- Preference will be given to students with the highest cumulative GPA
