Successfully selected interns Participating in the IT Support Engineer Internship, are expected to carry out day-to-day IT operational support to internal teams within the organization plus the following Responsibilities:
- Interns will actively monitor and analyze user requests, and evaluates and applies solutions.
- Responsible for Troubleshooting IT technical issues and resolving them in a professional, and timely manner in person or via email, telephone, and/or other electronic media.
- Interns will also complete the setup and configuration of company laptops and desktops
- Accurate Maintenance of IT asset inventory and assists in acquisition, deployment, support, and retirement of IT assets based on established IT life cycle management.
- Responsible for consulting IT knowledgebase(s), Internet, other team members, and any other appropriate resources for independent troubleshooting
- Works alongside vendors on hardware warranty issues and hardware insurance
- Interns are responsible for the Installation, and upgrading of hardware and software by the company’s life cycle management policy
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- The Maintenance of user profiles ensures password policies and other system policies are enforced.
- Responsible for training and enhancement of user knowledge regarding computer software and hardware
