iCloud Password: How to Reset Apple ID Password on iPhone/iPad

Forgot iCloud Password and Security Questions? Use Email Authentication

Apple ID account page allows you to reset your iCloud password with alternative ways of security. One of the ways is sending a reset email to the e-mail address that you simply have related to your Apple ID.

  • Enter the URL https://appleid.apple.com.
  • Select “Forgot Apple ID or password?” to reset the iCloud password.

  • Apple will notify you that your Apple ID is protected with two-step verification.
  • Enter your Recovery Key.
  • Choose a trusted device.
  • Apple will send your device a verification code.
  • Enter the four-digit verification code then set a replacement password and choose Reset Password.

What If I Forgot My Apple ID Password and Email Address
