Disney Easter Eggs: Movies That You Can Spot Disney Easter Eggs

With Easter approaching what a great way to spend some time in doing a Disney Easter Eggs Hunt the Disney way. How many Disney movies have you watched and thought “hey that’s Scar from Lion King, what’s he doing in Hercules?”

Over many years, the Disney animators have made it their mission to insert hidden characters and Mickey symbols throughout their movies. This is to add some magical Disney mystery and intrigue to their fun-loving movies.

With Easter around the corner and Disney+ launching this week, we’ve decided our Easter Egg Hunt is going to take a decidedly Disney turn, specifically trying to find all the Easter Eggs hidden in Disney films.

Disney Easter Eggs

Yea! We are still talking about Disney Easter Eggs. It’s funny to think about the history of hiding Easter eggs in animated movies. Before the days of VHS, if an animator slipped something into the background of a film, it really was an in-joke that quite possibly very few people could ever find out about.

Once home-video came into play and the slo-mo features that came with it fans could pore over every frame of a movie. These Disney Easter eggs which span nearly four decades run the gamut. There are some that are delivered with a wink as if the animators expected fans to notice and be delighted by them right away.

Older ones, though, were even hard to spot on a streaming service you really needed to find an old-school, frame-by-frame way of watching it to find the hidden surprise.
