The game that would be leading the August 2022 Xbox Game Pass Line-up is Expeditions: Rome. Part historical drama, part turn-based tactics, and is part character-driven RPG, it takes place in the boots of a Roman General. You would be charged to lead an army of legionaries across Greece and Gaul, before Zooming into patrician villas to navigate the political quarrels of the senate. It did not get a major fanfare when it was released earlier this year, but its ambition is a reason to check it out.

Microsoft also announced that Ghost Recon Wildlands would be hitting the subscription service. The latest Ubisoft title that would be coming to the Game Pass follows Watch Dogs 2 and Assassin’s Creed Origins, the military simulator dumps you in a huge open world that has been overrun by a fictional drug cartel. Although it is not seen as one of the best co-op games available right now, You get to play with up to three buddies.

The Much-anticipated university management sim Two-point campus would be released on the Game Pass on its day of launch.

Plotting and Puzzling

Also heading to the game pass is the wildly named Turbo Golf racing, a quirky multiplayer racer that looks more like a mash-up of Rocket League and Gold. Cooking Simulator, Martian RTS Off-world trading company, and circuit board puzzler Shenzhen I/O would be coming also.

Below is the time set for all those games to be hitting the game pass this August:

  • Shenzhen I/O (PC) – August 4
  • Turbo Golf Racing (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 4
  • Two Point Campus (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 9
  • Cooking Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 11
  • Expeditions: Rome (PC) – August 11
  • Offworld Trading Company (PC) – August 11

As expected, some games would be leaving the platform. Boyfriend Dungeon is an odd, but amazing game, a Mixture of dungeon crawler and dating sim. With the main story that should take you around 6 hours to complete, it is well worth you playing before it leaves the game pass on August 15.

Curse of the Dead Gods, Library of Ruina, Starmancer, and Train Sim World 2 would also be heading out on that date.
