Benefits of CERN Administrative Student Programme 2024

  • The interns will sign a two- to twelve-month internship contract with CERN.
  • A monthly stipend of 3407 Swiss Francs (before taxes). will be provided to every intern
  • Each participant will receive a travel stipend.
  • An additional grant will be awarded if the intern is married or has children.
  • Medical insurance will be paid for by CERN; nevertheless, the insurance allowance will be subtracted from the intern’s salary.
  • To provide a balance between work and home life, interns are granted 2.5 paid leaves every month.

Eligibility Criteria for CERN Administrative Student Programme

To be eligible for the CERN Administrative Student Programme, applicants must:

  • Be nationals/Citizens of a CERN Member or CERN Associate Member State.
  • Have already completed 18 months of their undergraduate studies (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
  • Be specialized in an administrative field at the time of the internship.
  • Be able to commit to spending the full for 2 months minimum and 12 months maximum.
  • Be a full-time registered student until the completion of an internship.
  • Fluency and proficiency in English or French are required for participation
  • STEM/Engineering students need not apply.
