Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Identify as female.
  • Be enrolled as a full-time QUT student (36 credit points or more per semester).
  • Have a GPA of 5.5 or higher.
  • Have relocated from a regional, rural, or remote area (as per ASGS Remoteness Area Classification).
  • Be entering the third or final year (192 credit points completed) in one of the eligible programs.

  • EV02 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

  • IX59 Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  • SE40 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Mathematics
  • SE60 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Information Technology
  • SE80 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Science

Students must be in their third or final year, majoring in:

  • Electrical engineering
  • Electrical and aerospace engineering
  • Computer and software systems engineering
  • Mechatronics engineering
