Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the International Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of India, Pakistan, Nepal, or Kenya.
- Be an international student (i.e., not a citizen/permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand).
- Have applied to study onshore at ECU in either:
- Semester 2, 2025
- Semester 1, 2026

Terms and Conditions
Scholarship recipients must adhere to the following:
- Maintain full-time enrolment (minimum of 60 credit points per semester).
- Remain in good academic and financial standing throughout their studies.
- Use the scholarship only for tuition fees—it is applied automatically per unit at census dates.
- Cannot defer the start of studies for more than one semester (unless approved by ECU).
- The scholarship is non-transferable to partner institutions or other universities.
- May become ineligible if awarded another ECU scholarship or government funding.
- Must keep ECU informed of any change in circumstances that could affect scholarship eligibility.
- ECU reserves the right to withdraw or withhold the scholarship at its discretion, including cases of false or misleading information.
