Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship offers two levels of awards, depending on the standard of the student’s application:
- Lower Award: Up to £5,000
- First year: £2,000
- Subsequent years: £1,000 per year (up to three additional years)
2 Higher Award: Up to £7,000
- First year: £4,000
- Subsequent years: £1,000 per year (up to three additional years)
Eligiblity Requirements
To be eligible for consideration;
- Applicants must be international students (paying international tuition fees);
- They must be commencing a full-time bachelor’s degree at one of ARU’s core campuses (London exclusive)
- Studying full-time
- Degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning courses, work-based degrees, and ARU College applications, are not eligible for this scholarship.

Applications, deposit and CAS deadlines
The CAS issuing deadline for our May 2026 intake is 27 March for students applying for a student visa in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, and Iran.
Deadlines for students applying from other countries will vary up to the final deadline of 17 April for countries listed under the UKVI “differential evidence requirement” Student visa: Money you need – GOV.UK.
The exact CAS issuing deadline for the country that you are applying from may vary depending on visa processing times and your individual circumstances, and will be updated on this page in due course.
