Features of University of Bologna Study Grant

The features of this grant are stated as follows;

  • Application DEADLINE: 31 May 2022 for Undergraduate, and 31 March 2022 for Master’s program
  • Study Grant is Open For: All nationalities (International students whose qualifications were obtained in an institution outside of the Italian education system, regardless of citizenship)
  • Country: Italy.
  • Institution: University of Bologna.
  • Programme of study: The field of study is the first, single, and second cycle degree offered at the University.
  • Grant Worth/duration: The first cycle and Single cycle degree programmes are worth €11.059 each and full tuition waiver for a total amount of €20,000, While for Second cycle degree programmes is worth €11.059 each and a full tuition waiver of €80.000

Note: Each of the Study Grants is available for just one academic year with a total amount of €11.059 to the beneficiary’s account. Additionally, Full tuition waivers are awarded for one academic year only, and usually, students who are awarded the waivers are required to pay €157.04 in regional taxes, the duty stamp, and insurance premium.

To determine your eligibility for this Study Grant, check the below requirements carefully.

  • The Study Grant application is open to applicants who have qualifications for admission to the chosen First, Single, or Second Cycle degree programme issued by an institution outside Italy, after at least two years of attendance.
  • One-year title qualification for admission will be considered too.
  • All qualifications issued by institutions of the Republic of San Marino do not satisfy the above condition, the applicant’s citizenship is not required
  • Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the chosen degree programme or will meet such requirements at the time of registration
  • Study Grant is not open to current students at the University of Bologna for First, Single, or Second Cycle degree programmes.
  • Any Withdrawals from studies must have been completed before the release of the application offers
  • Applicants must have not already benefited from the Unibo Action 2 study grant or from the Unibo Action 1 waiver
  • You are not 30 years or older as of the deadline of the call.
