The General Ibrahim Attahiru Foundation (GIAF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2025 Education Scholarship program.

This initiative is designed to honor the late 21st Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru, and provide educational opportunities to the children and dependents of Nigerian Army personnel and veterans.

In remembrance of General Attahiru, the Board of the Foundation has made the decision to expand its support by offering scholarships to students for the 2024/25 academic session and beyond.

The scholarship aims to encourage the youth, especially those from families of Army personnel, who possess great potential yet face limited opportunities for higher education.

Purpose of the GIAF Scholarship Program

The GIAF Education Scholarship program was created to:

Eligibility Criteria for GIAF Scholarship 2025

  • Dependents of Nigerian Army Personnel: Applicants must be children or dependents of serving, retired, or deceased Nigerian Army personnel.
