This scholarship also seeks to strengthen the intellectual ties between Thailand and other nations.

Eligibility Criteria for Chulalongkorn University Scholarships

To be eligible for the Chulalongkorn University Scholarships:

  • Applicants must be international students from ASEAN or non-ASEAN countries.
  • Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or a master’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.25.
  • Proficiency in English is required, demonstrated by a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (173 computer-based) or an IELTS score of 5.0.
  • Applicants must be under 40 years of age.
  • Preference is given to faculty members, researchers, and academic staff who plan to return to their home countries after graduation
  • The term of the Chulalongkorn University Scholarships cannot be extended
  • Selected candidates are not allowed to defer the scholarship period for acceptance once the scholarship has been awarded.

  • Full tuition coverage (excluding any special fees imposed by specific faculties or programs).
  • A monthly stipend and accommodation allowance totaling 16,000 Baht.
  • Economy class round-trip airfare, with maximum reimbursement limits varying by the applicant’s region (e.g., 8,500 Baht for ASEAN countries, 12,000 Baht for other Asian countries, and up to 30,000 Baht for North and South America)
