Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Brave of Heart Nursing Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current undergraduate student working toward an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) by September 2026.

Award Details
The Brave of Heart Nursing Scholarship provides financial support based on the student’s enrollment status:
- Full-time BSN students will receive $10,000 annually ($5,000 per semester).
- Full-time ADN students will receive $5,000 annually ($2,500 per semester).
- Part-time students will receive half of the applicable award amount.
These scholarships are one-time awards designed to assist students in completing their undergraduate nursing studies.
Application Requirements
As part of the application, applicants must submit the following documents:
- Complete Transcript of Grades: A current, official academic transcript that includes the following details:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades for each course
- Credit hours for each course and term
- Note: Grade reports will not be accepted.
- Financial Information: A copy of the first two pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040. This will be used for the financial information section of the application. Please make sure to black out all sensitive information such as social security numbers and bank account details.

- Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by Scholarship America.
- Leadership and Community Involvement: Your participation in school or community activities will also be taken into account.
