About the Fellowship Program
The Clinical Research Fellow will work on an NIHR-funded multidisciplinary research project aiming to create an AI-driven tool for EEG interpretation.
This tool is intended to improve the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as delirium and non-convulsive seizures directly at the point of care.
The fellow will join the lab of Dr. Gregory Scott, an academic neurologist and computer scientist, and work within a team of experts in signal processing, machine learning, neurophysiology, and human-centred design.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with full GMC registration.
- Experience in working with hospitalised patients and healthcare teams.
- Strong understanding of human electrophysiology, including EEG data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and human research ethics.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple sites.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to clinical research.
