What is the Marshall Scholarship Program?

Founded in 1953, the Marshall Scholarship honors the legacy of the Marshall Plan by allowing exceptional American students to study at any university in the United Kingdom.

The goal is to strengthen UK–US relations and support the development of future leaders. Up to 50 scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding students across the United States.

Important: Applicants must be nominated by UW–Madison and cannot apply directly to the Marshall Foundation.
